GDP Revisited

Despite recent political boasting, the St. Louis Federal Reserve GDP stats provide, for some, a sobering view of economic performance under two Presidents-PRE COVID!. 

Of the 13 pre-COVID comparable first term quarters for Trump versus Obama, Obama led in 7 OF 13-just about even! Granted there is NO direct effect of the Presidency on economic growth thus no one can really take any Presidential boast of economic superiority seriously-especially not with this record.
